Public Relations & Membership Development Co-ordinator POSTING CLOSED - co-ordinate outreach initiatives through volunteer co-ordination, membership and publich relations. Communicate the value of farmers markets to the community and bring stories from the markets to a broader audience.

Operations Assistant & Special Events Co-ordinator - POSTING CLOSED - Plan and prepare staff and equipment for a great day at the market. Organize a schedule of events at the market that will enhance the market experience for shoppers and vendors alike.

On-site Market Managers- POSTING CLOSED - Manage the on-site operations of a market location. Work with a team of market assistants and volunteers to deliver great customer service to both our vendors and our shoppers. Work outside in all types of weather.

Market Assistants - POSTING CLOSED - work as part of a team to roll out a great market in your neighbourhood every week through the summer and fall. Market Assistants help with setup, operation and take down of market equipment and are the front line of our organization.

Membership Representative - POSTING CLOSED Help us gather support for farmers markets in Vancouver! Spend your summer days at our markets talking to people and helping us reach our goal of over 2000 members in 2010!

Volunteer Co-ordinator - POSTING CLOSED This position maintains the smooth operations and development of the Volunteer Program, including organizing, training and acknowledging volunteers, coordinating their roles for on- and off-site events (as distinct from staff), and building a strong, supportive, long-term volunteer team that can represent the organization and champion its presence in Vancouver’s neighbourhoods and communities.

Membership Representative - POSTING CLOSEDas part of our membership team, introduce shoppers to market membership and work to increase the profile of Vancouver Farmers Markets with the public.

Market Assistant (relief and floater) -POSTING CLOSED join the market-day team to setup and organize the market site in preparation for the arrival of vendors and shoppers. Give great customer service during market hours & help us pack everything away at the end of the day for the next week. This position is relief/shift coverage and the ideal candidate will have flexibility to work weekends or Wednesdays.
