Starting August 2, a new market will launch in Gastown as a project of the City's Summer Spaces program. This market is a partnership between the Gastown Business Improvement Society and Vancouver Farmers Markets.

We're hoping that the market will be a meeting place for neighbours, visitors and friends as well as providing the neighbourhood with a much needed fresh-food outlet. We encourage you to sample the sights and sounds of the market and continue your journey through the streets of Gastown where there is so much more to see.

Enjoy the Gastown farmers market for this year's brief season. If it's a hit, we hope to be back for a full season next year.
